FAQ

How long will my porch last?
Every pumpkin we install is fresh from the farm, and how long it lasts depends mostly on sun and heat. A covered or north-facing porch can hold beautifully into Thanksgiving. A west-facing entry in full afternoon sun ages faster, usually 3 to 4 weeks. Early-season installs in warm weather age faster than October ones.

What can I do to help it last?
Keep pumpkins off hot concrete where possible — hay and stacking help with this. Don't water them, and keep sprinklers off the display. If a pumpkin develops a soft spot, remove it so it doesn't affect the ones touching it.

What if a pumpkin goes bad early?
Tell us. Within the first two weeks we'll replace any pumpkin that fails, free of charge. After that, replacements are available at à la carte pricing.

Do you take it all down afterward?
Yes. Add takedown and removal at checkout and we'll return at season's end, clear everything, and donate it through Pumpkins for Pigs — a nonprofit that diverts pumpkins from landfills to farms and animal sanctuaries. Nothing we install ends up in a dumpster.
